Good Reasons to Use Water that Has Been Distilled

I do this because I need to take many pills every day

I know, water, water everywhere, but what kind of water meets my special needs? My choice is to drink only distilled water. I’ll tell you why.

I have to swallow numerous pills daily. A lot means 42-45 pills a day. That’s a lot. I must swallow each and every one of them without throwing them up.

I developed osteoporosis and have needed to swallow natural calcium osteoporosis supplements every day

Because of the side effects of some drugs I have been required to use, complications have arisen. I have to swallow more pills that counteract these prior medical problems. One situation is that I developed osteoporosis and have been required to take calcium osteoporosis bone supplements daily. This is because of the very high doses of Prednisone, because of my Crohn’s disease. So now I have to get down two additional calcium osteoporosis pills to counter this bone calcium problem. That is the reason why I must take a great number of drugs daily. While doing this, I often find it very hard because of the chemicals that have been added to our tap water.

I do not understand it, but this area seems to have water with lots of chlorine. I can taste it easily. The water company sends quality notices that say the district’s water has chemicals added for many reasons. I’m pretty shocked by this.

I expect that there are chemicals in our water, because the water comes from natural places. However, the additives are a problem for me. The water district covers a large area, and they have to make sure that our tap water is safe to drink. Check out the information that get delivered in the water bill envelope, and you’ll see what I mean. I almost don’t want to know, but I would rather know what is in the water.

With water that has been distilled, I can take all my drugs, supplements and vitamins

A while back my uncle arrived for a holiday and we had a discussion about water purity. Because he travels for a living, and he commented that he usually brings purified, distilled water. I asked him why distilled? He told me that this is the one water knows he won’t get sick on. Plus, he can purchase distilled water in any market.

I thought that was interesting. In the past, I had just used distilled water for baby wipes that had dried out. After learning about his use of distilled water, my Crohns has gotten somewhat worse. Because of intestinal problems, I now have to swallow more pills. Besides my medicine for Crohns, I also must get down vitamins, including multivitamins and iron along with a calcium pyruvate 750mg supplement because of dietary deficiencies.

Crohns Disease causes me to be very sensitive to smells that make it so that I can’t keep my medicine down. So, I’ve decided to drink only distilled water, because I must always get down all my drugs, vitamins and supplements every day.
