Low Carb Eating Diet

Healthy diets may vary in different forms. It is important to have a balanced eating plan that includes proper amount of fat, protein, carbohydrates etc which suits to all people. However, many people are not aware of amount of calories present in a particular food and hence low carb eating diet has to be planned.

This low carb diet is very popular because you can get the best result of initial weight loss rapidly by consumption of regular diets. If you follow the diet plan, you can lose up to 6 pounds in the very first week itself. Sounds amazing? Yes! This is true. Though weight loss does not result in fat reduction in your body but reduces some muscle glycogen as well as water. However, free lunch option is not available here as you need to reduce your weight. Carbohydrates are essential in growing fetus for women, red blood corpuscles (RBC) and also provide essential energy to the brain to stay active throughout the day.

HOW LOW CARB EATING DIET WORKS?

Sufficient amount of carbohydrates will gets reserved in the glycogen (carbs) which is located in the muscles and liver. Low carb eating diet will burn this reserved glycogen and hence immediate results can be obtained. One gram of glycogen will burn up to 4 grams of water.

For example: if you burn up to 600 grams of glycogen, you will simultaneously lose 2400 grams of water. This is total of 3 kg’s of body weight.

REDUCTION OF WATER WEIGHT AND NOT BODY FAT:

Whenever you eat large amount of carbs, you have to notice that your body will be stored with its glycogen as well as water reserve. So, body fat is not reduced in this diet.

Since carbohydrates is essential for certain physical activities like cardio aerobics etc, many low carb dieter’s are experiencing fatigue growth as well as motivation loss in order to maintain ideal weight (as per BMI).

Instead, meat can be consumed with low fats or with no oils added on it.

Thus, low carb diets are successful for some people as they reduce weight up to 5 to 6 pounds during the first week itself.
